St Stephen'sPrimary School

About Us

St. Stephen’s is a voluntary aided, Roman Catholic Primary School, providing education for children between the ages of 3 to 11. The principles of the Catholic faith are paramount and the whole atmosphere of the school promotes this.

  • We are a large two form entry catholic school in Droylsden with 419 happy, fantastic children.
  • We have award winning school grounds that include our own allotments , chickens, ducks and we have our own outdoor gym.
  • We are lucky to have our Church on our doorstep and we have regular class and school masses.

Tameside Local Education Authority maintains the school.

The school operates an “open door policy”, and parents are welcome into school at any time. If a problem or query should arise concerning your child, please consult with your child’s class teacher in the first instance. If you require further support, please contact one of our Assistant Headteacher’s Mrs Williams or Mrs Healey.  Please be assured that nothing is too trivial if it affects your child’s welfare and education. Staff are only too pleased to meet you at a mutually convenient time.
